You may ask why Romania is involved with a mission started for and dedicated to Israel?

 The fantastic truth is that a Palestinian Arab that was converted to Christianity through I.A.I.’s ministry was visiting Romania for medical needs (supplied for by IAI) when the taxi driver found Jesus and this led to a large network of new churches in over 50 cities! I.A.I. supports this work in many ways. We support ministers, supply vehicles and even food for the needy.

This has been a work that has  literally exploded far beyond what we ever expected. Therefore today, I.A.I. finds itself active in a vibrant pioneer work that grows daily as literally hundreds of new believers find the Lord each month .

The most exciting report just came to me from Romania.

HOW GOD USED A PIG

Incredible Romanian  Miracle…Letter December 13, 2006

Dear Bro. Gerald,

          How mighty is our God!! Bro. Gerald, do you remember last week I wrote to you and I told you about a sister in our Church, Maria  who sold her pig to use the money to buy Bibles? Today in the morning, after the meeting, she came telling me if I would accompany her, because the man to whom she sold the pig, he wants me to come and take it back.  He told her “Your pig is a wild pig and since I bought it, it didn’t eat anything but only continues to squeal loudly, grunting and actually screaming and wakes up everybody of the neighbors. It has become very skinny and very wild, nobody can touch it, or be near it.”  So, please, I am sick and my wife is sick and actually she is in a wheel chair for three years.   This pig is bothering her to sleep or to move her wheel chair outside the house, she is afraid.”

            This situation was very difficult for me and I told Maria, I have already given the money she donated for Bibles from the pig sale to the Bible company for new Bibles.  Maria told me she had no money to give back in exchange for her pig and doesn’t know what to do.  She insisted very much for me to accompany her to see this man and decide how to handle the matter.

            I went with her and we drove to the village, some short distance from Bucharest, and we asked neighbors about where his house was located.  Some neighbors knew this man and warned me…”Be Careful, this man is very dangerous and known to be a problem maker in the community.  It will be much better you give him the money back and take the pig.”

            We arrived to his house and we found the man in front of the house and walking up to the man, we heard the loud squeals of the pig. He took us up to the pig to see it well. The pig looked very skinny and had red eyes, only skin and bones since the pig did not eat anything. It made much strange movements.

           We sat with the man and shortly thereafter his wife came in a wheel chair from her room and she looked at me very, very strange and I started to think that this woman looks familiar to me.  I could not remember where I might have seen her before.  Then the husband again said to me to give him the money and we should take the pig back and all things will be satisfied.” 

            To change the subject of the pig, we asked him about his wife and he began to tell about how his wife three years ago had an accident with a horse and wagon coming out of a field carrying corn.  With her automobile she struck the horse and killed it and she was thrown to the ground, severely injured and spent six months in the hospital, with little improvement.  Since that time she could not stand up on her feet. Urgently the man spoke up again and said “So, we don’t need this pig anymore and that settles it.”

           I asked him “Will you allow us to pray for your wife?” He refused and said, I spoke to my priest about the place of this pig and he said to me….The Satan spirit is put into this pig and the pig must be killed very soon.”

           I asked him again, “Please I just want to touch your wife and pray for her.  This does not cost you anything.  Just please let us do it”.  So Maria and I started to touch and pray for this woman in her wheel chair as she sat at the entrance of their house. I remember I touched her right shoulder and Maria was touching the other one and her husband was standing in the front.  Some members of the family were standing around.  It was not cold, a weak winter sunlight was on us.

          Shortly after starting the prayer, suddenly came on us a big cloud from the sky and covered all the area where we were. Quickly it became so very dark that I thought if someone would put his finger in front of my eyes, I could not see it.

         While we were praying I felt the chair became empty and the woman disappeared. Though the husband did not touch the wife while we prayed, he also noticed his wife disappeared and he shouted to us “Oh, what have you done to my wife?  My wife is gone! My wife is gone!  You made such big magic for my wife, she’s already gone”.

            It lasted only a short time because the man repeated only a couple times and questioned and blames us while the immediately the cloud ascended up and away and we see the wife standing up on her feet in front of all us in the middle.  And she started to praise God and shouted her joy and she jumped and ran around us in the yard repeating, I am healed, I am healed!.” My fright began to slowly leave me as I was wondering what is happening.  A noise coming from the roof before the cloud went up scared us more and then the women’s loud shouting shocked us very much.  Never before was I so scared.  I knew that the Lord Jesus did something but it was all so frightening.  I never faced anything like this before.

            We all watched the happy woman running and shouting the joy in the yard and suddenly she stopped and asked me, “What is this?”  She did not know what’s happening but she explained she felt her laying on the ground and a kind of power like someone make her lay on her back and pulled her two legs in front strongly and they took something like chains or handcuffs from her knee caps.  She felt suddenly the freedom to move on her legs and the freedom to love everybody.  She couldn’t tell us more because she started again to praise and to thank Jesus for saving her and healing her.  She was amazing in her joy showing us a bright beautiful face.

            Once, we realized the  pig was not squealing and screaming and the women took us all to look at the pig.  The pig was totally changed and different.  He was not skin and bones anymore.  He was nice and fat like one week ago and quiet looking at his visitors.

           The woman then started to weep and cry asking us to follow her into the house.  We saw tears of happiness and sadness at the same time as we sat startled and amazed of all we were witnessing.  Then the woman came to me saying “Please!  Please! Without any meaning.  I asked her “What is happened to you?”  She said “Please bring your wife, now not later, Please.  I asked her “What do you have to do with my wife?” My wife does not know you and she has no connections with you…she even doesn’t know I am with you here.  She replied “Please bring your wife and after that I will speak to you.”

            I told her that my wife is too far from here.  She took out from her breast one million lei (money) and she told me “Tell your wife to take a taxi and come here soon as possible”. After that I really wondered what she has with my wife.  She insisted she would not speak one word until only when my wife will arrive.

           I called my wife and I asked her to come to that village, because we witnessed a miracle of the Lord and we need her.  The woman did not say any other word about my wife but she only continued praising the Lord and hugging all of us who were inside the house and those of the neighbors who also come into the house.  She described to us how she felt while laying on the ground and how she said the Lord Alive!   All the family accepted Jesus as their Savior at that time, waiting for my wife to come.  The neighbors who come in the house also got saved and we praised the Lord together.  The cloud and the empty wheel chair in the yard brought them to Jesus today in the morning.  Praise the Lord!.

           When my wife arrived, the woman whose name is (Elena) looked to her and she started to cry again and to hug my wife and kiss her and repeated over and over Please, Please forgive me”.  She kissed her hand, her head, wherever she could.  After that my wife asked her “Why are you doing this?”  I don’t know you, I never saw you”.   She answered  “Yes, but I know you, and I am the one who put the grease in front of your church  in Bucharest and you slid down the steps and you broke your leg.  I am the one who done that to you and I am the one who caused you to stay in the hospital with a broken leg.”  But after that on my journey home, the same day, I have the car accident with the horse and broke my legs.  And now why does your husband come to pray for me.  You came here.  Please forgive me, forgive me” And she started again to kiss everybody and she began to confess to us how she was behind all this thinking we were worshiping Satan. 

           Then she confessed that she had connections with Eion, the man who attempted to burn down our church in Bucharest last year.   From the wheelchair she encouraged Eion

           To do this, because she thought by mistake that we were worshiping Satan.  She is the one who provide for him the burning mixture.   She also used to puncture the tires of the car and would brake the windows of our car.  She confessed what she did and also paid people to do this, because she believed by mistake that we worshiped Satan.  With each confession Elena asked us to forgive her.

           I was shocked to find out so many troubles created to us by this woman, and then I called Eion, because he didn’t tell me anything of his relationship with Elena.

          Eion told me “Please, I don’t want to hear about that woman, because she has a very big Satan spirit.  I prayed much for her, and I don’t want to hear about her”.  I asked him if he knows this Elena.  He said “Yes, I know that woman, and please I don’t want to have any connection with her”.   I told him “But you have to know that Elena has now already accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior.   And he shouted for joy on the phone and later he came to us.

          We saw in that house a complex feeling of love and fear, of joy and happiness with  the Lord from all our new born-again brothers and sisters.  They are eleven people and more than anybody, Elena was showing us her feeling every few minutes asking if Jesus will forgive her and everyone of us, older brothers and sisters would answer her and say “Jesus has already forgiven you because he saved you and healed you.  You are born-again and what you have done in the past is over”.

            The new born-again Christian family came together with Elena telling us “We praise the Lord and we thank Him we are saved.  Please, we give you the money and the pig back and here is more money to buy 20 Bibles”.   I took the first money and then took some more to money for the extra 20 Bibles.  Eion offered to help Maria load up the pig to take it back again.   But more than this, Elena asked me to allow her to come to clean in the church in Bucharest, or to do anything she can.  She wants to serve God.  She says, “Please tell me what to do, from now I am only for this.  I don’t want to do anything, only for God.”

           Before we leave for Bucharest, Elena gave us a message “Please, please I know Bro. Gerald and please tell him that I want to see him and to kiss Him when He is coming to Romania”.

            After we left the village, I have a big question from Maria, the past and actual owner of the pig.  She asked me “What shall I do now?”  They gave me back the pig now and what shall I do with this pig.  I don’t want to go and sacrifice him and invite my family or I want to sacrifice and invite you and invite some more members of our church because I do not want to lose the credit of the church that I paid for the Bibles”.  I couldn’t answer this question.. So please Bro. Gerald, tell me what to tell to Maria what to do.  She plans to invite us, or she plans to invite her family to this pork and what shall she do?  She wants an answer.

            We believe Bro. Gerald, today we had a big sign from Jesus, that He is coming soon and it’s very great.  We are happy to send you the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Happening in Romania and we thank the Lord we can share with our big family overseas this miracle and to enjoy together for His coming.  We are happy to tell you, Bro. Gerald, that today we met the Lord because you let yourself to be used by him to bring Him here a long time ago. We are happy you’ll bring this good news to our brothers and sisters in America.
